We had a water damage and mold inspection done. I was very impressed with how thorough it was and how knowledgeable and informative it was. I forgot to tell the inspector about a couple of water events in the basement years ago that I had forgotten about. He was able to identify both events with amazing detail. Water damage in Daybreak Utah. This water event didn't have anything to do with the window well we're just using it to take the garbage and debris up and out of the basement. There was a pipe break in a utility room that went under the wall into the family room and damaged a rug and a couple of walls. Apparently it has been going on for a while and as a result there's a little bit of mold we're going to come back in a couple of weeks and do the mold cleanup for them.
This is a newer home Welbilt attractive in its design, but the roofline is a little bit creative. I would recommend at this customer get some heat Cable in some of these little corners on the roof that are on the north and west slopes to prevent ice damming or you can almost bet it will become a problem.
We are helping to clean up another water damage this one is in South Jordan Utah. The water came from a pipe going to the water heater that failed and then went down another level below it. Typically water heaters and Rambler style home or in the basement. This one was in the basement there just happened to be another basement level below that even hence there were two levels affected.

Mold inspection in South Jordan, Utah. This home has mold in the cold storage room under the front porch area. Even though there's a visible crack on the porch it's not from water leaking into the cold storage room. Their problem is related to condensation on the tops of the walls during the coldest parts of the winter. Mold inspection in South Jordan, Utah. This prospective buyer wanted to be careful to not buy a home with mold in it. She was delighted with how thorough our inspection was and she commented that she wished she had us inspect before she spent $510 with another company for mold testing. She didn't have them inspect because they did not know how to do a mold inspection. The picture also shows that the rubber strip on the bottom of the shower door is missing near the wall. This is one of my favorite homes in South Jordan. It is beautifully finished and has very nice workmanship. This is also a repeat customer. We were out last year and cleaned up a little bit of mold for him and now his home is for sale and we're back cleaning up a very small area of mold.
